I dont know if this will fix you're issue or not but have you tried some different master ouput cables?
I bought some HOSA brand cables from guitar center about 1 month ago and my mixer gave me the same symptoms that you are experiencing. For the first 3 1/2 weeks of using the HOSA cables, the master output was fine, but then I lost sound on one of my channels. I have an A&H xone 32 and I bring it to my friends alot so I have to unplug the mixer from my house and then re-plug it back together at my friends house when I go there. Apparently, the cheaper cables work great if you plug them in and leave them plugged in, but if you are constantly unplugging the cables and re-plugging them in alot, the cables go bad fast.
I originally thought it was my mixer as I rarely see cables go bad, but now I know why the cheap cables are so cheap. IT's because the wiring inside the cable where the connector is located is not as sturdy and durable as other cables. Possibly bad solder jobs or something....(as well, cheaper cables have less shielding)
I switched to monster cables because guitar center gives them a lifetime warranty. The monter cables are great. I have not had any probs yet. IF the monster cables go bad, I just bring them back to guitar center at any time, and they will replace them for free.
something to try if you have'nt tried to swap positioning of your cables yet.... |

Seriously, you should try switching the cables around. I have had problems in the past with mixers cutting out channels or all of the bass on one side and found it to be a bad connector in the output cable.
Even if it turns out to be a problem in the mixer, Behringer gives a 1 year warranty if you sent in the warranty card. Try calling their customer support. I have heard from other posters here that they have great support. |
