What's the problem with the catalog? Yes, I saw the nakey pics. So? You have the option not to look at the catalog, in fact, have nothing to do with A&F. Are you bothered by Playboy and Hustler as well?
I realize Playboy and Hustler aren't trying to sell clothes, but what does it matter? It's just an advertising technique, and you have to be 18 to buy the catalog anyway. It's not the same as the general catalog which is mailed to homes for free.
And I've hear they've finally caved to the pressure and will not publish the catalog anymore. Anyone know? |

| i like the cataloge, I never considered A&F clothes before, because I believed it wasn't enough bang for buck.. but now if they have such nice neked people in their magaznies, their clothes must be good!:toothless |

I'll agree with all the pro-nudity people here: nothing wrong with distributing photos of the naked human form. There's nothing particularly pornographic (i.e. explicitly sexually suggestive about the photos) about this catalogue or the depiction of nudity in general and I can't understand anyone having a problem with anyone of any age viewing something in a magazine that everyone has seen, or - even if they haven't - they could view just by looking in a mirror.
Can't comment on the discrimination thing or the general crapness of A&F aparrel but how anyone (not necessarily including the people on this forum) could be so repressed as to deny the natural beauty or artistic validity of the naked human form is beyond me. It's only nature ffs! |

| yeah they actually got in trouble for that magazine because it had oral sex tips inside and they've pulled them off the shelves...at least thats what i read in the news recently...a number of people found them offensive actually...as for discrimination...i dont know...i recently applied there and i was getting hired right away but i couldnt take the job cos of the timings... |

There are many things wrong with porn.
But the main problem is anyone can have access to these magazines. They shouldn't be putting that garbage in their magazines.
