What are your opinions on Hybrid?
For me, I love hybrids stuff. All of it is amazing.. There stuff for me is not so easy to dance to, but extreamly good to listen to. They are amazing! Hybrid reminds me of BT 100 percent. Well anyayz, I like them alot! So I just wanted to know what others thought of them :). Post anything, even if what you think of them is negative :). Post your honest opinions on Hybrid. |

| I think they're excellent. Trance and breaks are some pretty different genres but Hybrid was able to take the two and merge them into awesome music. Their music is sooo energetic yet still has the flow and emotion of trance. 'Finished Symphony' is one of my all time favorites. |

| who is this 'hybrid'...and what is this 'trance music'. j/k:) . i like hybrids stufff evev though it really isnt my top choice of genre (trance and breaks) to listen to. i agree with trancedj 100%. i dont really think i can add anything else. |

| Yeah, Hybrid is very unique in the way that they were probobly one of the firsts to have trance and breaks, to maybe have this new genre of Trance breaks .. very good choice from them , great sounds !! all in all, I like his or her stuff alot .. I belive is a Him .:D |

Very good, high quality stuff comes from Hybrid. I just picked up their wide angle album that has the 2nd CD with them live about 3 weeks ago. I've been listening to it a lot lately.
My personal fave songs:
Kid 2000 Live
Snyper
Altitude
And let's not forget all the kick-booty remixes they do.
I'm especially fond of their remix of FSOL's Papua New Guinea. Such a good tune. :)
I enjoy them a lot and agree with JayD on the fact that Hybrid and BT sound very similar. :) |

| I really like Hybrid's remixes but I saw them live this past saturday. I wasn't feeling the music at all. Chunky hard basslines...breaks but no melodies. Too slow for me. |

And yeah, you can't help but love their material......fat, chunky, dubby breakbeats - very original and very, very good. :D |

i went to a moby concert in nyc.
hybrid opened up, and put us all in a trance. and we werent even on any drugs (well i wasnt). then moby came on and dissapointed us.
hybrid is very amazing. but the trance they played live i am yet to hear recorded somewhere |

I did the same thing last fall, and saw them spin at a club afterwards.
They were amazing back then -but- their sound has changed since then, getting darker, downtempo and more progressive.
If you see them live, expect something more like Sander K with breaks than 'Wide Angle'... (especially much less strings)
Still great DJs/live artists/producers, IMHO.... |

| I like hybrid's remixes of Southside with Moby and that Sarah Mclachlan-Fear song. Seems they remind me of breeder, dunno why. |
