would you guys mind compiling a small list of good mixers in the 1 grand range. such as the djm-600 or Allen & Heath xone62, etc.
It won't be a while til i have the money saved to buy it, so i could spent all that time reviewing specs. just need a few recommended names.
thanks guys |

| Yeah, that Xone mixer looks like the best one on the market today. That one along with the top Rane mixers. I've read about them in DJ Times. Anyone know how much they cost? I bet they're a whole bunch because they're more along the lines of club installation things than personal DJ use. But still, I really wouldn't mind owning one myself. |

yah i emailed distrubutors about both the eclar and the xone 62:
xone 2:464
6 dual stereo & 4 mic/line
Retails for: $1799.00
xone 2:62
6 dual stereo
Retails for: $1399.00
xone 32
3 dual stereo
Retails for: $949.00
this is ofcours the suggested retail so we could prob find it a little cheaper. the eclear dude wrote:
The retail price is $699 but you should be able to find a street price
of around $599. Pro Sound and Stage (pssl.com) and Turntable Lab
(turntablelab.com) are both on-line retailers that carry the HAK 320. You
can also call California Sound and Lighting (1-800-4newsound) if you have
trouble with the other retailers. The effect loop is assignable to each
channel independently so you can use it on one or both channels at the same
time. Overall the HAK is the best mixer I've ever used or seen and I have
worked in the DJ retail business for 10 years now.
threw in a nice brag.
i think i may save up for the Xone. the eclar can't do much more than my djm-600 |

i recently bought the Rane MP2016 mixer and the Rane XP2016 processor. the 2016 is a rotary mixer, which i think is awesome once you've tried it. of course, the XP processor adds the crossfader if you want to use that. a lot of clubs use this mixer (which is based on the old Urei mixer) and once you try it, you'll see why. it's a lot of fun to use. i got a brand-new MP2016 for ~USD$950 and the XP2016 for USD$550. so it is expensive, but i love this Rane stuff.

The A&H Xone 62 sells in stores for about 1100$...
The Rane MP-2016+XP-2016 is IMO the best mixer out there!!!
Ejumbo, you got a great deal on it... it usualy sells for about 1050$+650$...
The Ecler HAK-320 is a scratch mixer, not for mixing... it's the best scratch mixer along with the Rane TTM-54i... the Pioneer DJM-600, MP+XP2016 or the Xone are much better for mixing.
Also check out the Roland DJ-2000... it's a superb mixer that sells for about 800$-900$. |
