picotto used to spin harder techno than he does now, he's playing a lot of electro/minimal/tech-house at the moment. the majority of the harder tunes he plays are his own.

altho he was never famous for techno, it's a common misconception that picotto only started playing techno on feb 2nd 2002 like evrybody said he did.

tracklists from 2000 should prove me correct

and by the way i didn't mean that febuary comment as literally, it's just everybody says he all of a sudden changed styles and i thought this would be a good way to show it, however i have now had to explain what i meant making it pointless. DOH!

Several releases over the years, on his own and in combination with other producers.
He’s got a label on the go at the moment called Maximum Minimum.
They're doing very well in a small way, with limited runs of 1000 copies
and also started a label
called Yolk (tough tech-house/funky techno)
and Double 7 (with Ben Balafonic) to release breaks and funky house.

Other projects coming up soon as well as the usual Smitten/Stay Up Forever,

acid techno releases include a new Ha-Lo single with
D.A.V.E The Drummer, Julian, Aaron Liberator and more. Plays all around the world.

Aaron Liberator

(after acid techno of course!) will feature funky bassline driven tech house
and a taste of influences from across the house spectrum.

Aaron's style of music covers everything from house to hard techno,
whilst keeping it funky and trippy with a freestyle attitude.

In 1993 saw the start of Nuclear Free Zone (Club 414)
a regular club night founded by Liberator with DJ Rocket, which is still going strong today.
Also in this year, Stay Up Forever Records was established.
Designed to reflect the musical style that Liberator played in the underground scene,
it has become a definitive acid techno label,
along with its sister Cluster.

Julian Liberator

Has recently started a new techno label, 4x4, with DJ Bruiser.
4x4 shows a more diverse side to Julian's production talent,
providing four cuts of tribal-percussive loop driven techno

Together with the two DJs above where the funders of the Acid Techno Squat Parties.

Their first party in late 1991 (Chris, Aaron and julian Liberator)
was very sucessful and by 1992 the acid-techno squat
scene was starting to become massive throughout London.

I'm very surprised with Varela, here in Spain is very famous but I didn't think over the world was as famous as here.
I've seen him and he really rocks! (He played a techno derivation of "Sweet dreams" :eyespop:  )
