Ok sounds tempting, but I would stay away from the cheap stuff unless you want to learn your lesson waking up half-beaten.:whip:

What time does Arc plan on staying open until on New Years and how far is it from Avalon?

It's cab-able, but finding a cab on NYE is just insane. I wouldn't really recommend walking it, either, because it'd take a while and prolly be in weather. About a $7-8 cab ride or so, I would guess.

I'm psyched to hear about this, because, as unfortunate as it is, I know a lot of people who *do* make their decision based on alchol. And NYE @ arc looks to be insaaaane. Memories of Tsunami NYE 99-2K :D:D

Avalon is in the Flatiron District
Arc is in TriBeCa
According to Mapquest, they're 2.43 miles apart

To get from Avalon to Arc by subway, you could walk across 1 block to 7th Ave, then down 2 blocks to 18 St, get on the 1 or 9 train there to go downtown, and get off at Franklin St (5 stops later). The ride would take 5-10 minutes. However, during the overnight hours, you might have to wait a bit for a train to arrive.

I read on Arc's board that last year, when Saeed & Palash played, the place was open til 10:30 am. I was there and it was a great time, but had to leave earlier.
