Freeze functionality in FL4?

Is there any way to add freeze in fl? I know cubase can do this, but I'm not really ready to learn a new sequencer and lay down the cash just for it.
Any plugins or anything that can do this?

i think you can do it for fx's for fruity
go to the mixer, select the fx, and click on "smart disable"
but then again.. i'm not 100% sure if that is the same as the freeze function |

| Or as a workaround, render to wave, and import to a track. Basically the same as freeze. |

that is soooo annoying too do... especially on your leads and string's and such since you gotta play it from the beginning all the time... even when you make a little change in the end of it.
but sometimes you gotta do it :/ |

It is a function in cubase that automatically saves the sound to wave, so the cpu doesn't have to render it every time you play it. Very handy for slower computers.

I've got the solution for you... an excellent plugin. Too bad it's not freeware, but it's not very expensive and might be well worth it. 14-day trial though.

| But it's an excellent function that's being implemented in all the major sequencers... however, if yours haven't got the function, why not checkout the plug? Also, it's arguably better then the freeze function in SX2 |
