I think they have a lot of talent, but their recent stuff is a bit lacking. I think they wanted to see if they could take and make it good. They sort of succeeded, but at the cost of some respect.
I think they're very talented, biggest artists of 2003.
And I think the general conception is getting laid. Nothing to do with Gabriel & Dresden. |

Hmm, Gabriel & Dresden didn't produce any disappointing track this year. They really know what how to make own tunes and proper remixes :)
Finally progressive sounds are back to the main scene - at least they do not produce stupid repetitive strings trance as many others do. |

I love G&D, they sound great, and they can turn average pop songs into masterpieces.
I don't see how they're commercial/cheesy, most other popular trance artists; PvD, Armin, Tiesto have generally more commercial styles. And nobody I know who's not into trance has even heard of Gabriel and Dresden, but most have heard of the aformentioned artists. |

voted for 'Sometimes they are commercial and sometimes they are cool'
cause they have the skills to make brilliant tracks like summer calling or wave 3. but lately they've turned out to mixing up pop with progressive, and they're moving more and more to pop. i hate pop. |
I second this. |
