I'll be there... Should be a pretty good party...
not sure what time we'll be getting there...
Party starts @ 8pm on the 31st and will probably end 30 hours after that, so there's plenty of time to get there.... We're not sure if we're going early for when the ball drops or maybe get there @ 7am or so and stay all day on the 1st....
It's gonna be Classics for the first 10 hours or so... which can be good or bad depending on how you feel... |

I don't know how I missed this thread but now that I found it.... bwhahahahahahaha.....
First off, jackass, a lot of these people listen to House including me. And as a lover of house I can tell you that JP is one of the WORST house Dj's ever to be allowed on the decks. Your taste in DJ's sucks my left and right nut.
Second, Exit is the tiest venue in NYC.
Third, Sasha and Sander Kleinenberg will be in NYC that night. Why the would anyone want to see Jonathan Peters when they can get proper Progressive House and Tribal from Dj's that know what they are doing.
Fourth, Darkbeat is the worst tribal track ever and JP is STILL playing that crap. Once again proving point #1, JP is one of the WORST Dj's ever to be allowed on the decks...
So you can go throw it down at Exit, just don't expect anyone here to be there since they actually LIKE good music. i'd take Armin, Tiesto or any of those overhyped Euro-Trance Dj's before I go listen to JP play Darkbeat and Satisfaction.
P.S. KTU SUUUUUUCKS! |

Hmmm.... I'm pretty sure I heard Steve Lawler drop Darkbeat for about 25 minutes @ Space in Ibiza this August... so I guess that makes him a crap DJ too??? Oh and pretty much ever other DJ I heard in Ibiza this Summer dropped that song still... even after being out for well over a year...
Why does everyone have to be so ing negative... If people like JP and want to go see him what's the big deal?? If it's OK to be obsessed with PVD or Tiesto why is it not OK for some people to be obsessed with JP?
I agree he's no where near the best dj out there... BUT for NYE I'm looking for the overall party...a party that's gonna last long and be in a big venue. And the music will be good enough to keep the party going even in Exit (I think) Sometimes people just like to go out and party and not be so anal about the music. NYE is for partying not for music critics...I'm coming down to the city w/ 20 people and we want to party...Not everyone with us is into trance or house or techno or whatever.... For NYE, all these other parties are just too small for me. Plus it's only $40.00. I know I will have fun @ this party, I know my friends will enjoy the music and therefore they will enjoy the party too... and that's what's most important to me for this night.
As for Sasha... last time I saw him (@ Pacha) he almost put me to sleep... ended up spending most of the night in the funky house room and the terrace...
I don't know... there really doesn't seem to be anything too impressive going on NYE in NYC... What a shame. Was hoping for Roger Sanchez to be in town but I guess I'll just have to wait to WMC or his NY residency to start to see him again.:toocool: |

I can't go to a party with bad music. It ruins it for me... I can't groove to just anything... I need quality. THis music is inspirational and I can't dumb it down with Guido-music... jeebus go listen to Denny Tsettos if you like JP, probably cheaper to see him in Jersey. :thepirate |

Since when did you think people go to the club to see slutty ass fake bitches who think they are to good for most guys anyways:conf:
1) JP Blows Goats
2) Exit Blows Goats
3) Fake ass sluts can blow Goats too
NYE is all about chillin with friends, getting faced, and dancing to good music......yeah you might be able to take care of 2 out of 3 of those tasks @ Exit but why settle for that when you got Sander and Sasha??? |

Sometimes it's just not about being a serious music lover...
I can go to a party and listen to hip hop and have a good time as long as it's a good party... I'm just saying there's a time a place for every kind of music. Hell it's even fun to go out and party and listen to rock and oldies sometimes.... I understand what you're saying...
I'll admit that I can enjoy JP or DJs like him...just like I can enjoy Tenaglia, PVD, Sanchez, or Carl Cox... They all have totally different styles and I enjoy them all. So there's no need to put people down because they have broad music tastes... Hell I'm sure there's even some people on here that like country music :eyes:
Dance music is about FUN and having a good time... since when did it become so serious (you would think we're listening to grunge or something) I think the majority of people miss that now and are too concerned about the name of the next song or who the dj is...
Oh yeah, slutty fake ass bithces are always a plus too...Nothing wrong with half naked sluts with big fake boobs dancing around in bikini tops :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: |
