| Looks like the British Cup is gonna be a new event on the calender. Not too sure about all the details, but something like the winners of the League Cup, Carling Cup, Worthington Cup, Coca Cola cup, you know, that pointless one, from England, playing the winner in Scotland. Should be a new incentive for the big teams to take part in the Cup as prize money will be set at £500,000 and i think i read about £350,000 for the loser, with tv revenue at around 1Million. What you think? A good idea? Im thinking its a good idea, but i still cant see united, arsenal putting out full strength squads cos of their participation and missions in the Champions league.. what about involving all the UK plus Ireland Champions?? |
