I lost my respect for this guy a while ago aswell he just keeps doing the same thing over and over again he just cant stop bitching at President Bush. I think Bush is doing a damn good job i dont think it is easy being the main man in one of the world's leading countries. People were give the right to bitch and they love using it there is walys something to bitch about.

Michael Moore says it himself there are over 130000 troops in Iraq and he takes for granted that they all feel the way he does. I dont think so there must be more then half who agree with the war. Maybe the goal is to earn money in the process President Bush is getting rid of Saddam Hussein WHO HAS MURDED HIS OWN PEOPLE and he's also freeing the people giving them new hope.

President Bush not being really elected is BS he is the president isnt he? The elections were very close and obvisuly there are gona be rumours going around saying this and that.

I wish that there could be one solid example of an effective effort that Mr. Moore has undertaken to demonstrate his firmness in being committed to changing the way our corrupt, greedy neo-conservative Republican government functions. Maybe he is one man but for someone who garners so much attention I expect more out of him as a purported activist and social commentator. Sorry writing books and speeches of "ironic titles" just doesn't cut it in being a true martyr for liberal causes.
so trying to end/pullout of a point less war is an ultra left liberal? OMG some one tell pat buchanan to stfu and agree with the war then.

why dont you lose respect for bush as well, all he does is say "saddam, wmds, threat to US and 911", when theres no connection, NO WMDS and never such a threat.

I agree, i doubt everyone of those soldiers in iraq disagree with this war, but i bet most of them are blind nationalist, brainwashed, or have no clue. also for murdering his own people, you do know he murdered the kurds which at the time was his enemy, futhermore do you know who gave him the gas to kill them? take a wild guess. as for them being free, do you seriously think america would fight a war to free people? of course not, we are selfish, racist, and think that the US is the world! hey why dont we go free the people from our ally uzbekistan, or go into afirca.

Kudos to Michael Moore... in an age when increasingly impressionable people are dependent on popular culture and and mainstream news to defend their points of views, Moore has done well to penetrate into that spectrum of the media. His timing at the Oscars could not have been better for him to get across what had to be said. Too many stupid people believe the people in the government and too many stupid people watch the Oscars.

Man, I think Michael is having a little too much impact on you...you're starting to sound just like him. Now "most" of the soldiers that don't agree with your stance that we shouldn't be in Iraq are either blind nationalists, brainwashed or don't have a clue...nice. Let's put you in a room with a couple hundred soldiers and see what kind of response they have for you. No offense, but leave name calling, dismissal of facts and improper polling up to Mr. Moore, he's the expert.

Well, not all presidents get to power through fair elections, you know. Bush did become a president with a minority of votes because of a flawed electorial system.

I have just returned home from "Operation Iraqi Freedom". I spent 5 months in Baghdad, and a total of 3 years in the U.S. Army. I was recently discharged with Honorable valor and returned to the States only to be horrified by what I've seen my country turn into. I'm now 22 years old and have discovered America is such a complicated place to live, and moreover, Americans are almost oblivious to what's been happening to their country. America has become "1984." Homeland security is teaching us to spy on one another and forcing us to become anti-social. Americans are willingly sacrificing our freedoms in the name of security, the same Freedoms I was willing to put my life on the line for. The constitution is in jeopardy. As Gen. Tommy Franks said, (broken down of course) One more terrorist attack and the constitution will hold no meaning.

That's the one that gets me.
