pretty jammin man. nice bassline, nice kicks... melody not overly dramatic but still pretty. lots of energy in your synth lines. very cool breakbeat. great job overall.

| I heard this track a while back on peachyravers.com and thought it was blooming fantastic back then and still do now. I'm surprised this hasn't gone further since then, have you put it out to any DJ's or record labels? It reminds me of Solarstone's work, driving bass, nice pads and gentle lead, very uplifting (even if the title isn't!) The only thing I don't like is the snareroll, don't know why really, I just don't think the sample you've used fits very well with the overall feel. Or perhaps work on the build up that goes with it. Certainly when it comes in around 2:50 during the breakdown you need more warmth, some extra strings layers or synths alongside the snare roll before it all kicks back in again. At the moment the snare here just stands out too much. But yeah overall it's an excellent production. Good work chap. |
