hmm marco did pretty good. decent set. a bit too many fillers imho. but enjoyed it. he ended at 5 which sucked instead of 7:30 but what can ya do. i loved when he dropped ride in the beginning of his set.
also loved when he dropped thomas datt's remix of i feel you. i went nuts for that, tom wtf were u? ur never here when people drop your tracks lol. good seeing all the ta's that made the trek after holden. i regret not seeing holden but whatever. time to sleep |

Tech trance is fukin iLL / the vibe was hot/ nice looking girls/ highlight of hte night UNIVERSAL NATION !!! Tears came to my eyes.. The down was, joshua wouldnt fukin play new new yokr when i begged at mercy. Mean people suck y go to a club not to have fun waste of space... i hate people who try to start fights anywayyzz.. it was good seeing Surge and other people i forget.. TA's are the greatest !!

Things I learned last night.
1. Holden should be the dj in the next Lotr movie (HE IS A GOD WOW!)
2. Joshua Ryan our own homegrown talent can knock any Eurpoean dj on there ass without breaking a sweat
Marco took care of business. but My Ryan was AMAZING
He dropped his new remix of Pistol Wip and besides that I had no clue what was coming at us. Simply amazing

OK so 1st when my friend told me you could leave ARC and come back I was completely taken by surprise. Most clubs don't allow that. I think it sucks for people that don't have cars, i.e. people that live in Manhattan; but whatever. Luckily my friend from Jersey had a car and we were able to remain substantially intoxicated for the majority of the night :happy2: On to Marco. I must say that I had a blast. I wasn't that impressed with his track selection seeing as he is ranked #15 or some where around there, but he did drop some surprises:

Ride ~ Chable and Bonicci (Alternative Route)
There was SOOO much room to dance which was AMAZING. No people knocking into me (Avalon, Roxy style). And ya the being drunk part at Arc was also, as I'm usually only slightly tipsy when I'm there all night. The key HAVE A CAR OR KNOW SOMEONE with a car! Didn't meet any TA's that I didn't already know/come to the party with. I looked for Colibri, RaVeRSurGe, and pyro264jb just because I always read their posts; and wanted to meet the "real" people.
I danced the WHOLE night from about 1:30 ~ 6, minus the two times I ran outside for pick me ups ;) Ok enough of my bantering, I will yield the floor to the next poster!

what a crazy night dirty fukin techhhh trance all night long i got there at 2:30 and was already impressed no slow filler progressive crap marco already broke out the tech
i dident like how his set was soooo short 3 hours? come on he owed us for last time i expected more, and the dj after him killed the vibe with that progressive stuff but he was not that bad
as for marco defintaly one of the best nights of the year
as for 2003 the best sets for me are a tie between:
armin at arc 10/1/03
j00f when he was at arc in sept when marco was supposed to be there
and marco last night
i met a few tranceaddicts i remember astralnrg your a nut i was the kid talkin to you when scot bond vs solarstone- 3rd earth (marco v mix) came on you asked me if i knew it and from their we were talkin about tracks, good meeting you

Marco's set was pretty good but the club was too much of a sausage fest...I left around 4. I wanted to meet more of you TA's but I couldnt find anybody. Fun night nonetheless, good to get out of the studio a little bit :)

I came in at 5 am, after Holden, so I caught only "I Feel You" (and maybe 1 or 2 other tracks) from Marco V
Joshua Ryan was great though
Interesting that he wore a tie while spinning, and put on a jacket afterwards. Maybe he had a business meeting to go to right afterwards. :tongue2
I would say that the Japanese contingent in the crowd was the life of the party.
There was also that guy who was dancing up a storm in the VIP room (which wasn't VIP on this night). From what I heard when he came out of the club, it sounded like it was his first time there, and so I think there's a new Arcoholic in the making. Now we gotta make him a TA.

I think we need buttons or something that are like YO I am a TA!!! It's too dificult to go up to someone in a club and be like are you a tranceaddict? Pin's could be cool. Just an understated gold TA in script or something, to distinguish us from the randomites in the club :cool:
