Liking the pads at the start, very atmospheric.
Percs are OK, beef up that kick a bit. Try and introduce some more complex patterns to create more interest. The bass is thin and gets a bit irritating, perhaps change it for a deeper more sub-bass sound.
Love the filtering work.. works well.
The pads in the break are nice, maybe make them a little louder.
As the lead comes in I like the ambience there. Might wanna beef up that lead a little, with say, some more synths to form the sound. Just sounds a little thin.
When it all kicks off though it sounds a little messy though, seems a bit of a clash of notes.
That other synth that comes in sounds a little too fruityloops (correct me if I'm wrong :p) but what you do with it sounds nice.
Good overall structure for the track. Not bad at all. Keep it up. |

I like the overall feel to this track, nice progression and atmosphere. Agree that you need more sub-bass, esp where it's used in the breakdown. Perc does sound good and with a deeper bassline the two should gel quite well. Might want some more hats though, a decent offbeat open hat and some more interesting closed hats should bring the whole thing to life.
Play with some effects on the lead synth to give it a little more warmth, look at things like reverb, resonance and flangers. Not such a fan of the pads myself, personal opinion but it seems i'm alone on this!
Enjoyed listening to this one, Keep it at. |
