Havannah - Havannah

Havannah - Havannah, first track of ASOT 128. Such a sweet track, I definately want to fool around a bit with this one, even if it's just fooling around.

I've tried my hand at picking out the notes but I'm pretty unsure they're right, I'd also appreciate if anyone could give me any pointers on how to recreate the lead sound (kinda Envio-ish).

hehe kinda Dreas-ish :D lol ... GUITAR??
State of Matter
I made an envio guitar on the pro 53. It takes automation to make it work. I used pretty much all 5 waveforms (saw and pulse for Osc1, saw triangle and pulse for Osc2). ed around with the filters and the poly mod until I thought it sounded decent. In the filter you gotta make sure you've got a decently quick decay, quick sustain, and a long release. Also gotta have a good amount of frequency modulation on there controlled by an average speed triangle LFO.

Where the automation comes in: When you're playing the notes, keep the release for the amplifier relatively short, but on the last note, the release should be really long. On this note, also increase the amount of modulation for that after effect he has on the guitar in Time To Say Goodbye.

Ill try and put up an mp3 clip for you. And I haven't heard Havannah yet.

Yeah, I know now that Dréas (and Björn?) made the tune.

Thx SoM that's an excellent explanation... I'll play around a bit with it.
But I wonder, would a filtered guitar be a better choice for this sound?
marco.V
well i kinda need this type of sound in a track im writing right now. I followed what SoM said but didnt make it.
Id like a full tutorial on how to make that guitar synth sound on pro53 or vstation.
Thx a lot
