i agree!..i don't really fancy funky house anyway on nye, but if its gotta be played then definatly BEFORE midnight!!

alright peeps...
u have to understand, that with us doing this pause night, its an eclectic night with dif genres throughout. Though i understand that a strictly trance night will be wicked, but me and my promoter mate Tobe work hard to try and cater for everyone.
The music genres will include, chunky latin house, chilled d&b (this guys good!!), and funky house djs, not to mention trance djs of uplifting/energetic/tech genre, as well as the infamous techno dj ;)
lineup is more or less as follows...

though like i said its an eclectic night of dif styles of tunage, we do take on board what is suggested as always. I love trance myself, but since i only have like 1 trance fan here in shef, with it being Toni, its hard cos a lot of me mates like funky house etc. So we need to fit in to various crowds. I suppose that is one reason why were more successful than a fair few other "non cheese" nights.
U guys wont believe how much me and tobe have worked over the year. For those who haven't been to pause before, we usually have 2 rooms, one room strictly dance inc. prog, trance, techno etc, other room is funky house, electro and all things house mainly. But cos of the demand from the regulars who have been to the previous pause nights, they cried out for an NYE. Me and tobe have to cut our holidays with our families short to promote NYE, so you can look at it this way. At least we are providing a place somewhere that where u can all enjoy getting pissed and generally getting messy with whatever u lot get up to ;), that along with great ppl that we all know who at least enjoy the music on NYE.
We had to cram the various music styles together purely cos we only wanted one room; to keep the party more intimate and friendly amongst mates of the djs and promoters.
For those who are coming, i guarantee u will enjoy the night :D
im sure all the djs playing will agree they will play a blinding set for NYE *thumbs up*

i had the impression it was a pretty small thing with predominantly Tranceaddicts and mates. |

were not promoting it in terms of flyering at clubs... just promoting it from within to those u know and who the djs know etc... and those on our mailing list, and then those who have heard about it.
Basically, there will be no knob heads, unless for those when taken sommat, go crazy

| Sounds good to me, i am a trance fiend, but i'm not one to diss other music if it is done good. I am basically looking to a night out of london with a group of new / sound people who have a passion for music. Cant get much better than that imo. |
