Mind-X: This may be a stupid question, but..
You say that everybody in Switzerland knows you, which must make you fairly big, are you then the Mind-X behind the old track "Nightingale", or have you simply "adopted" your name after that fellow? |

KieZie, the thing is if somebody puts DJ in front of their name, most people assume that the person is an actual DJ ... and you would hope that they would know what they're talking about music-wise, and also you know that you can talk dj-stuff with them. But on this board it turns out that some of the most inexperienced (clueless sounds too harsh) posters call themselves DJ (there is always a few exceptions) ... in the beginning it didn't really bother me either but it looks like it is getting somewhat out of hand. But who am I to stop you.

Personally I don't care but skywarp has a point here.
Anyway, I don't recall anyone boasting with DJ skills or stuph so it should not really matter what alias they use here. People deserve to be flamed when to try to DJ in real life and fail like a flashlight which works with sunlight. I was visiting my friends in Stockholm a couple of months ago... we took a boat cruise there. On both trips there was this ULTRACRAPPY "DJ Java" playing at the disco. My god, that guy sucked like no other. There are no words to describe how bad he was. First off, his tracks were pure . He had no line in his music, that is, he played anything from jazz to eurotechno. Mixing, beat matching, fades, pitching etc. were totally unknown concepts to this fella. There were breaks up to 30+ secs between tracks! He tried to create something own by ing up the tunes by inserting simple beats to remotely good songs making them sound horrible. In addition, he tried to sound like some radio-DJ and spoke some utterly stupid lines to the mic which was configured by some truck driver. Like this wasn't enough, the crowd consisted of drunken aggressive morons who were flailing, falling on other people, dancing with a beer mug, clapping hands (not matching the beat of course), yelling and screaming some . EWWWW! Terrible.
Anyway, the point is that DJ Java sucked so unbelievably much that I could have played a better "set" even on LSD trip with my hands tied.
Heh. Just had to get that out. :D |

Sorry im pissing myself... lol... Its true u do get some extremely so-called DJ's, in my town there aint much in the way of proper clubz (thats why i mission it to sheffield when i go out!) and it takes the piss... Like mindbender sed, a lot of them dont even know what a crossfader is or how to beatmatch. It makes me sick listening to those guys when u know that someone else can do so much better but doesnt get the credit for it.

Mind X...... every one has heard of him, but im not to shure mind x here in the forum is the real one!!
That means you made coulors and all those other songs and remixes, payed at goliath and realesed a bunch of mixed cd's ...... So what i am trying to say is Prove it!!!

Brankovic (calling you Mind-X would be a compliment), I hope for your own sake that you will post under a different nickname (if at all) in the future, since I am sure that you lost all respect and credibility by pulling that little stunt. What were you thinking, are you looking for acceptance ? I can't believe you are that desperate that you would pose as a famous DJ on some internet message board, and then even be arrogant enough to state that

for sure I'm not that mind-x that you mean
but i am knowed in switzerland, i got to the turtables through my brother, who organises big partys
definately not that mind-x who produced colours etc.
if you meaned that, sorry I'm NOT that mind-x!
and skywarped, please ask next time before you write some down, I think it really sucks and so it's no more fun in that forum if you write down some stupid , that i didn't say. i never sad, that I'm the really famous mind-x, he's just my idol! |

D. Brankovic, the damage has been done, you can not reacall your actions now - calling each other names on a public message board won't restore your credibility, and neither will some weak and dubious excuses. If you have issues you wish to discuss with me, please move the correspondence to e-mail, there is no reason for everybody else to listen to your insults. It is too bad that this board doesn't have a filter option so I wouldn't have to see your name again.
At this point, I would like to apologize to all TranceAddicts who had to put up wiht this little verbal exchange.
This is all I have to say.
