Not really, he just asked for Swiss trance, ie, trance produced by a Swiss producer. I don't think you're on target in the other thread either, since the poster was clearly open to new ideas and wanted everyone's suggestions vis a vis good listening material appropriate to the situation in question. |
to be honest your right in theory. but not in respect to what they are actually asking. If someone asks in a thread for suggestions and every1 of their examples are swiss hard trance then they are not going to want replies of progressive swiss producers. i know this because in the past there has been countless circumstances of this happening to myself and after a while its just gets annoying. |

Yes, I agree 100% and since Hard Trance isn't my preffered taste in music, I wouldn't know if all these producers were all one style.
And...
Moogwai - Viola
Moogwai - Keo
Libra Pres Taylor - Anomaly (Calling Your Name) (Moogwai Remix)
Tillman & Ries - Bassly (Moogwai Remix)
...all, at least in my book are "Trance" and made in Switzerland, so they fit into "Swiss Trance", whether or not they fall into the style that's synonymous with trance producers from Switzerland. If he did in fact mean hard trance, then he should have stated that in the title.
Flutlicht and Moogwai/Chab were the only electronic music producers I was aware of from Switzerland, so it's not like i knew there was a such thing as "Swiss Hard Trance". :p |
