You mean you want to alter the sounds that Absynth makes. I do not quite understand exactly what you want to do.
Absynth is a synthesizer. You have to turn the dials alter the envelopes to change the sound. Absynth is a modular synth, so its quite difficult to explain how to operate it. Maybe try with some easier synths, preferably some subtractive synths like pro-53. they are easier to understand what you are doing. |

Bro,
I just wanna create a NEW sample with Absynth. |
|
|
hey cheggy |
Do you mean you want to make your own sound with it?
Do you want to know how to record the sounds that come out of Absynth?
To create an empty patch, go to file --> new , or click on one of the "default" patches to start from scratch to make a new sound.
I'm sorry mate, I'm trying to understand what you mean, but I your use of the word sample is making it difficult for me. Making a sample would indicate that you want to record sounds from absynth, but you say this is not correct, so if you could explain in a little more detail what you are trying to do, then I can help you out. |

Okay then, you start with an empty patch, so go to file --> new.
Click on one of the default patch names to start making that patch. Go to the "patch" section and select your wave form. Click on oscillator two to activate it. Click on oscillator 3 to activate that if necissary.
Then click on the filter 1/2/3/master to ad a filter to those oscillators. Then ad some modulation below that.
If you don't activate those creepy looking boxes, then they won't do anything and are bypassed.
Go into the "effect" section to ad fx, the "envelope" section to play with the amp filters and the LFO section to ad some low frequency oscillators.
when you have what you want, click on "store to" to save the patch. |

Do u think I can get a great samples with absynth? |
|

hey cheggy |
Absynth is a very powerful instrument, but it may take a while to understand how to get the most out of it. I personally have never used it but i have heard what it can produce. Search the net, there should be some tutorials lying around on how to get good sounds out of it. |
