w00t w00t. i solved the problem with the 1 minute X seconds cutoff. But, you'll need ANOTHER 250 megs on the HD. so...
www.divx.com, look in software and download: AVIedit, it should be the 2nd one on the list
Next, Open the Marco V video inside AVIedit and then, file, save as.
Compression: DivX 4.0 beta
the coding is pretty slow. I went into Configure and put the Performance/Quality at Fast and it took about 30 minutes. I notice that if u move the mouse around while it's encoding, it process is sped up, rather than pressing OK and leaving the comp.

I finally downloaded it, (i have DSL), but it only went at about 5k a second for me (i guess your server was bogged with inquiries....maybe about the porno?)
i opened it no problem... i used Windows Media Player 7.1, it has a built-in divx codec, so there are no problems. you can download it at www.download.com, do a search for windows media player 7... its 10 Megabytes, but its worth it... also gives you the visuals when you play mp3's....
