Cogeco/Rogers Cable Internet Users...

anyoe else notice that cable upload speed has been upped to 80 k's a sec??
maye the TO/Rogers users have always had a higher cap, but in the hamilton area most of my friends have been capped at 40, this week i've been reaching speeds up to 80 k's a sec... wtf?? |

Seriously though, my speeds (Rogers) are still crap, don't know what you're talking about. Cogeco in Kingston has always been decent this year, never bothered checking what it was capped at though. |

| They increased in the etobicoke, althought it doesn't apply to me cause I got the business edition, but my friend's regular connections their uploads were increased. |

Rogers brought their speeds back to what they used to be back in the @home days 3mbps download and 350kbps upload
Sympatico and other DSL providors will double their speeds as well by march. 3mbps download and 600kbps upload for those who's lines can support it. There was an article about this in The Globe and Mail not too long ago
