is it possible to MIX live over the i net ?
like an IP into the WINAMP and then it works ?
or other way ? or not possible ? :)

| I believe it is. I think Simcut and TempesTrip mixed live over shoutcast or something like that. Sorry, I don't know much more than that. |

i tried asking that last time but didn't come up with a solution either....
if only we could get the tune to be playing in winamp whilst we mix and then send it to shoutcast then it should work... but saying it is one thing and doing it is another....

In order for that to happen, you'd have to be doing all of the following:
1. Use a DJ program to mix...
2. Encode the output from wav to mp3...
3. Have a fat pipe to send to more than 2 or 3 of your friends at the same time.
Is it even feasible? |

| i think you can skip the 2nd step. winamp can play wav files and then have shoutcast do a quick mp3 encode (64kbit or less) while broadcasting that through high speed internet access. |
