Tell me what you think of my Xmas Love Letter (pg. 2)

Honestly to tell you the truth, I fell asleep after your first paragraph. It bored the hell out of me. I'm not saying this to be an ass but in reality you completely lost me. It's almost as if you're trying too hard.
Who knows maybe someone else might like the letter but I wouldn't send it.

like i said before "love letters are better left for those already in love" this is an exemplary case. send that letter ASAP.
that was a great letter mate, verry deep. takes maturity to write and understand such a deep and passionate love note. |

Actually, the middle third of it (roughly) is alright. I'd just cut the fat near the beginning and the end, especially all that weird crap about being scared, breaking up, all good things must come to an end, etc. etc... sounds like either you're very insecure or trying to make her insecure. At some points I actually got the impression that you were contemplating breaking up.
I dunno, it really sounds like you're trying too hard - telling her how much you need her but insisting how you're really secure and not weak - I think in most people's experience, those who feel the need to talk about how secure they are, usually aren't.
FFS, you're just trying to tell her you love her, not put her on a pedestal. That thing in the middle about the things you love about her is good. The rest of it sounds like it was written by a 16-year-old (no offense). It just lacks flow and direction - I realize this is not a literary work, just a letter, but the advantage to writing a letter is that you have all the time you need to organize your thoughts and make it crystal clear. |

FFS, you're just trying to tell her you love her, not put her on a pedestal. That thing in the middle about the things you love about her is good... organize your thoughts and make it crystal clear. |
i agree you could edit some stuff out or rephrase the security thing more tastefully.
i think when you really are in love with someone and you know deep in you heart that you are not complete without the other person then it is an absolute necessity to convey that to your lover.
like the man said. she completes him. let him put her on pedestals all he likes, god knows i would. chicks love that stuff specially if they know its coming from you heart. |

its good, but some parts in the letter put me under the impression that you two have broken up. you should also edit out the "i love you; i love you; i love you." sentence, its too repetitve. |

| i agree with the guy who said it looks like you are trying too hard. i dont know what your girlfriend likes, but if it were me, i'd be somewhat insulted you cant tell me how you feel to my face. then again, i am not really a romantic at heart, so what do i know. no one ever sent me a love letter. |

I think that you should take out the part about when you thought you were going to break up... That's not something you should remind her of. :p I want a love letter... :( I've only gotten one love "poem" I guess.-. Let me see if I can dig it up somewhere... if I can I'll edit it back in my post. :D

And from just being with you, it makes me a better person.
At anytime when I'm not near and you're unsure of how I feel,
Just start from the top and read down, I assure you it's both true an real.
Btw- a lot of that has inside jokes in there, so if you don't understand why he wrote those exact words, there's a reason. :p |
