Does anyone know anything about Paul Oakenfold - Zoo York (Leama & Moor Remix)??? I read that it will be released probably in January/February of the coming year but I'm not sure.
There is a ripped version of the track called Paul Oakenfold - Zoo York (Leama Remix) on the net. He's played it in few of his sets.

Thank you

This is so sick but, I actually dreamt of Mr Oakenfold when I went
to bed asking him about Zoo York and he said that he wanted to release
it in February 2004 but the remix of it was only 95% done, they had
sent in lots of drafts to him but he didnt like any of the remixes
so he was waiting for a "really good one" so he was aiming for
November 2004.

I dont really know what I was on last night

i was told by the man himself that it was not going to be commercially available due to the naughty sample in it.

All the more reason to release it, Mr. Dresden :D

OK, perhaps I can shed some light on this.

Andy and Marty (leama & moor) produced the mix and submitted it to Oakenfold using the original sample (which okey somehow omitted to clear before placing it on his album - oops!).

The original mix was pressed and sent to Oakey with a scribble in felt tip pen wit only leamas name (hence the originla listings only credited Marty).

Anyhow, now because of copyright issues - it's unlikely to see the light of day officially. Oakey did actually get some promo white labels produced of this mix - but I've yet to see a copy of this.

Oakey asked leama and moor if they could rework the mix and put an original vocal on it (cause he's really for it), but I don't think this has been completed yet - andy (moor) is currently busy working on his own stuff (of which is very impressive).

I hope he doesn't sign them to Pefecto because for one i have heard that perfecto wont be distributing any more records. And what they do distribute are notoriously hard to find ... they should be signed to a record company that actually has the goal of distributing some records instead of sittign around whanking it.

You can get a white label of this at Release Records.
