| Did anyone hear this on their latest GDJB. I thought this mix was really good. Better than the sweeping strings mix for sure. I asked dave if it was going to be released but he said not in the near future. Oh well. Anyone else like this mix too? |

| I like this mix of the track. The track starts off with an interesting breakbeat, with subtle vocals drifting in. Then incomes hauntingly beautiful guitar plucks, that drift in and out of the track, echoing. There's a nice clap in between the beats, which just adds to the catchiness of the track. |

I like it. Heard for the first time in Dave Dresdens Proton radio set last year. For the longest time I had no idea what mix it was until Dave answered in a thread.
A lot of people say it is boring but I don't think so. A real shame it won't be released IMHO. |

I take it they did at least make the Original Mix before the Sweeping Strings Mix etc. Because you don't really hear a lot about the original, so it seems strange to release the original after all the remixes have been released and all the hype as died down.
But then, I do remember someone saying that they didn't finish the original, so maybe now they've decided to.

Yeah I don't know the full story behind it, but Dave said in the other thread it was never finished. I guess with the great success of the Sweeping Strings mix there was no real incentive?
Anywho, maybe they (G&D) are teasing us so they can see the reaction to the tune, and whether or not it would be worth pursuing to be released? :p |

| it doesn't have that special touch the sweeping strings has. even the above & beyond has it, slight note variations when the girl sings "we drift deeper, life goes on" the music goes up a note, in the original mix it doesn't. too bland. |

IMO, there is a lot more going on in the Original than just a single note :).

This is weird. Listening to G&D's Dec. set on GDJB live didn't do much for me. Now I have listened to it about 3 times since and love every minute of it. Even that Milkshake tune works for me lol... go figure :D |
