| ugh, definatley a ty day, i worked at chapters from 9am - 5 pm. i i put over 1500 stickers on books today and the customers that came in were vultures! i dont think people understand that when i am already helping someone i am not going to just drop that person to help someone else. what else is funny is when people say " do you work here" when your wearing a uniform. i dont think i need to go any deeper into that one. i keept thinking, "time and a half" so i wouldnt lose my sanity. |

| Boxing day is such a scam. First, I spend half an hour trying to find parking and then most stores have ty or no discounts. After nearly 6 hours of walking aimlessly I had purchased only a pair of jeans and a shirt. Guess I should be happy that my bank account still has a debit balance. :) |

Oh yeah...as soon as I saw the sale price, I knew my mind was made up :)
I hope all the people that lineup up for hours at the Yonge/Dundas location of StupidShop had fun while I walked into Yonge/Eglinton at 9am, no lineup, no crowds, and picked up this:

hey yeah ben i agree with you, there isnt much at all even after they slash the prices even electronics or clothing, its only like 30 $ diffrence i saw on a pair of speakers.

did my boxing day shopping at 8 pm. bought hair gel, wife beather, and new shoes.
in and outta the mall in 1/2 hour...
watched movies all day at home. cant complain at all :) |

same as what's online...$729 - $50 mail-in. I kept thinking about buying it about a month ago when it was still $899...the sale price ended that indeciveness pretty quickly :D |

I did the boxing day shopping thing. I didn't really need anything but my good friend wanted to go out and shop. Figured I could atleast wander about and do some people watching. Little did I know that my friend is one of those freaks who goes out on boxing day to shop for discounted christmas wrapping paper, present labels and cards etc...for next year. If you think boxing day shopping in Future Shop is nuts I suggest spending a few minutes in the Christmas Aisle at Walmart on the 26th.
But it was a successful shopping trip ...she saved $2.00! *sigh* Won't be doing that EVER again. |
