I like his music but hate Moby himself..the ego centric..pompous big word using..trying to be smart assclown. Tho you must give him credit, he somehow got all the songs on play licensed for adverts which made him a ton of money. |
this is my thoughts exactly on moby... i use to be a lill obsessed with him and ya ill credit him to be apart of the inspiration for me to become vegan... but then it seems moby lost something...
as for his muzic... its great... moby has been know to being very diverse... going from electronic to punk rock to pop... and even a lill bit of ambient... the problem i have is ya all his albums have been real diverse except for his latest 18... too simular to play... as if he wants to ride the pop train as far as itll take him...
but his latest release is great... b sides from 18... not only do you get the toons... but the dvd of the rare trax and then the remixes... definately worth the $15...
but ya moby seems to of just gone to ... |

Yea, darn those people that use big words! Sheesh..... God forbid someone try to foster discussion about important issues.... (Not that I agree with most of Moby's politics, but I'll applaud him for at least having an opinion) |

Well i think what really happened was that his album first came out and it did not sell nearly as well as they thought it would so they got a lot of the tracks used in adds. Then the album sales started to take off. |

if anyone thinks Moby is an ass than they have never seen an interview w/ him. when it comes to electronica, Moby is the most down-to-earth individual in the business. i will always respect Moby's music, very innovative and new. |

tho I actually like 'God moving over the face of the world' more, they're both practically the same.
