star wars has become crappy. It takes Lucas 3 years to come out with each new mediocre film, while Peter Jackson releases the trilogy all in 3 years and each is a masterpiece. |

Honestly its a in film, some will like, some will hate, so who really cares, I liked the 3 original Star Wars, and I know there are people that hate it and guess what...WHO GIVES A , if we all liked the same movies and the same , don't you think that would be crap, you'd walk out meet somebody and be like "hello, I'm not talking to you cos your exactly like me, so its like talking to a mirror, so please piss off", ok I finished my rant, now I think I'll put on a flame suit just incase.

| I just saw Return of the King yesterday, while i didn't hate it I thought it could have been better. Not sure if the holiday stress interfered with my enjoyment or that the movie was too long. I felt detached from the characters and was a little overwhelmed by one epic battle after another. The movie crammed what would take a month to read into 3+ hours of continuous action. Acting, direction, and special effect were superb I needed an intermission or something. Anyone else feel the same way? |

| i just think its funny that most of the replies to this thread are people who support lord of the rings trying to 'change the mind' of the original poster, when in reality, he probably wont change his mind. otherwise, its people trying to be funny, or people saying OMFG LOTR is awesome, its the best series of stories ever, when all that really is is an opinion. sigh, another pointless post by me.... |
