How strange that I should find my eyesight improving post consumption of biscuits (both post pause and gc) .. any1 know anything about this? Its quite a distinct improvement that lasts a few days and then returns back to its previous state ..

taking biccies makes you're pupils dilate
dilated pupils means more light enters your eye
more light entering your eye means you visual cortex is stimulated more
you're eyesight "improves" as you eyes can "see" more becaus emore light is utilised.

Also, when you're high as a kite, things are "prettier" etc because of the same sort of principle (i.e you see more), except your somatosensory cortex is also stimulated by mdma and is also linked to the visual cortex.

As the mdma is depleted from your system, pupil dilation recedes and everything goes back to normal again.

When i say post pause and gc tho i mean quite a bit later .. like at least 24hrs .. I know it takes a while (3days or so) for the mdma to leave ur system completely .. but does the trace quantities that exist affect your pupils in such a significant way as to improve eyesight?
dj_mdma
yes

its the same sort of principle when you wake up the next day and still feel relatively happy. when all the mdma has gone, thats when the end of the comedown seems worse, but in reality, you've returned to a normal state. I found that the sensitivity of touch has stayed with me for 18 hours after clubbing and stuff. also tolerance to mdma means that post dropping effects will be lessened

You relate pupil dilation to eyesight tho .. in which case surely my eyesight should be at its best whilst on mdma rather then 24hrs after .. ? Not that Ive checked this whilst in a club hmm ..

Can hardly say that pupil dilation after 24hrs is that significant .. defiantely not something you would notice in the mirror as being different ..

basically, it all depends on what you would call "improvement"

mdma sensitises the appropriate neurones and cortex's and pupils.
as the mdma wears off the cortex's adjust to reality, i.e you're thikning straight again :toothless , but its effects on physical things eg pupil dilation, muscle twitches and the like still linger. so basically, as time progresses you're are more aware that you can see better, and eventually, that too will go.

or something like that

Well im short sighted so things in the distance are blurred to a slight degree .. but reading small text on the tv from a distance becomes possible whereas usually it aint .. I refer to actual improvement rather then visual stimulation ..
