Soft Cell - Tainted Love
You know that song that everyone knows from the 80's? I was watching VH1's top ONE HIT WONDERS and this song was at number 2. They interviewed the singer, and low and behold, it was Marc Almond of Soul on Soul fame...errr...unfame. :D I thought this was quite funny considering we've all been somewhere at sometime in our life singing this song, not realising its the singer of the ty ass system f song! Hhahha..
Just thought everyone would like to know, if of course you didn't already!

I love that remix, proper evil stuff from Thomas Schumacher. :D Don't mind the vocals either, but I guess Marc Almond's voice is a matter of taste as usual. Soft Cell were hugely popular in the 80s, but I guess hearing Marc's voice brings back too many awful flashbacks, which is why ppl can't stand him now (apart from the raving trend gimps in Mixmag maybe) |
