| Hello my name is Mike, i am 28 years old, ive been raving since 1996, and throwing parties since 1999. Some ppl mite already kno me i am one of the members of Hardline entertainment. Let me start with tranceaddict i love the site, and i think the mods are doin a great job(Ari). I dont kno u but it seems like u have a problem with promoters pumping their parties(threads) on ur site. What i have learned in all the years of my party throwin, is the more hype i put in to it, the better the party. For the last couple of years all ive been readin all over these msg boards, is how the scene use to be so great. But what was happenin then was the promoters throwin the party would week in and week out would be pumping their party, and there would appear to be some unity from company to company and club to club and a certain respect for one another. In the late 90's i remember going to party at the better living center, and had over 11,000 ppl, now for a promoter to get 2000 ppl is a struggle. My opinion on this is that in the past ppl wanted flyers at the end of the party night, and now i noticed when i was handing out flyers ppl would walk 15 steps and throw it to the side, its jus to much of a hassle to carry home. What im tryin to say is that promoters have to rely on using these sites for promoting their party. This is the computer age, well i appear to sound negative but i love this scene, Hardlines goal in 2004 is to bring to the ppl some of the most enjoyable evenings in partying and to work with ppl who would like to see the scene grow to the numbers that we used to get bak in the day. So to finish this off to all the promoters out there and to all the ppl out there lets see next year Jan 31st instead of going to all these small parties were lining up at some massive venue such as the better living center. and i hope everybody has a safe and happy holiday, thank-you |

im so with u man on makin the scene united... there seems to be all this competition and just tensity... its like no one wants you to grow. we gota break this wall up and throw it in the recycling box. |
