thanks.

Traktor 2 only works with one soundcard. But you can have 2 stereo outputs, if you have a soundcard that can do multichannel sound, such as SB Live and SB Audigy, and others. You can configure the 2 stereo outputs to drive an external mixer, or alternately configure it to use one stereo to drive an external amplifier and the other stereo output drives your previewing/monitoring headphones.

mmm... ok .... and the SB live?? this working???

Lots of people are using SB Live with Traktor - from what I've read it seems that it is inexpensive and almost as good as SB Audigy 2. I have Audigy 2 and it works well and sounds good but I haven't tried anything else. I set up the card in XP Control Panel to operate in "quadraphonic speakers" mode and probably you do something similar with the SB Live.

SB Live is good for using at home and to save $, but if you want to go "on the road" I agree with amdmax, look at some better cards.

hi.. i have a another question...

Here are the output connectors on the "SB Live!", there are 2 line-level outs, which is what you need.

On-Board Connectors:
Analog/Digital Out (Analog Center & Subwoofer/6-channel S-PDIF Output)
Line In
Microphone In
Line Level Out (front) / Headphone Out
Line Level Out (rear)
MIDI / Joystick port
Telephone Answering Device In
MPC-3 Analog CD Audio In
Digital CD Audio In
Expansion header for Live! Drive series or Optical Digital I/O card 2 (available separately)

From http://www.soundblaster.com/products/sblive/specs.asp

About $50 at BestBuy.com, the Audigy 2 is $100.

Or check out http://floridamusicco.com/soundcards.htm and similar places for even better cards starting around $100. Such as the M-Audio 2496 for $150.
