Hope yer talking about coffee tables cuz if you mean turntables, it's going to be a lot more than $300...check the DJ Booth section of the forums.

i bought stanton spin cycle pack, comes with a two crappy stanton str8-30 tt's with no torque watsoever and a weak mixer all for $300 not including tax
i was either gonna go all out technics and a sweet mixer or go all out cheap
since i was just starting out i decided to go the cheap route that way i could also have more money for vinyl
but if u save ur money and get nice decks like technics u won't ever have to upgrade and you'll save money in the long run |

save up till you have $600, then buy yourself some half-decent gear.

Save up more money man. With 300$ you cant get anything thats good quality. The decks you could get are guaranteed to be belt-driven and thats not good stuff. Save up like 800$ and buy some used technics and a good mixer.

You can get a Numark package at www.djtronix.com for $300 and free shipping. It's what I started out on, and I still use those decks because I'll never save enough to buy Techs. =\ You don't need the best equipment, and it helps you learn in the long run by starting off on sub-par decks. Once/If you do get Techs, mixing will be second nature.
