WC3: Frozen Throne is by far the best game to come out this year imo

and that need for speeed game is a joke, good AI? sorry but the game has the worst rubber band AI of any racing game I've ever played, and I would agree that the main draw of the game is the customization of your car, because the racing is just plain bad

as voted on IGN dot com, i go for....
rizen
imo this is a poll. wheres Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic or Warcraft3: The Frozen Throne?

anyway this past year has been really disppointing compared to other years.

GTA Vice City - short and no multiplayer. original GTA and GTA2 were better and alot more fun. although thansk to MTA, it helps it, but not worth game of the year.

Splinter Cell - not my type of game.

Freedom Fighters - LOL

Call Of Duty - personally havnt touched it, but seen a friend play it, and its very well polished gfx wise.

Prince Of Persia TSOT - not my type of game.

NFS Underground - great cashing in on the ricers (and FatF/2F2F fags) :p yet cant compare to colin mcrae rally 3 for PC.

Halo - I was expecting this in 2000, you MS/Bungie

C&C Generals - even though i beta tested this, i didnt really enjoy it. original CnC and Red Alert are still the best.

Neither Splinter Cell, Vice City or Halo are games from 2003. Ports shouldn't count.

And why isn't Legend of Zelda on there :conf:
ports thing is intresting, especially since vice city and halo were ty ports and zelda was console, not PC. however Zelda: Wind Waker has my vote for console, and/or just basicly game of the year.

Just a quick point-out: NFS:U has absolutely no police afaik, which is uberly retarded and simply opening up for a second version of the game. No cops? WTF?!?!? Let's just street race without worrying about getting busted by the law, shall we?

So stupid.

Halo. I know its a port, but god damnit, its a ing fantastic game... I daresay I enjoyed it more than I did Half Life... awesome vehicles, awesome weapons, awesome story... and thank ing god, you could only carry 2 weapons at a time. No incredible shrinking weapons! That alone made it 10x more fun. Not to mention the multiplayer is the best thing I've played in years. The netcode can suck but if you've ever played HL before TFC 1.5, you'd know Halo is, in contrast, a picnic :D

my vote's going to Scorched Earth for the PC, easily 2003's game of the year! :happy2: :happy2: :happy2:

Dude, give me a break, just because you dont think these games are good dont mean other people think the same, the world doesnt evolve around you
BUT, I do agree with you about Halo, MS ed PC owners up, not only that the game is in as outdated as disco, MS and Halo, but I inculded Halo since some people seem to like it.

i kinda agree wit u guys about halo, its good to play and beat it once, thats it. theres nothing really more to do after that, except multiplayer but even that is pretty boring, its not as good as CS or other games, the gfx r nice on it tho, which i like
