| not a long time ago i have got an audio in some unknown for me & my PC extensions: *.pk , *.sfk . How can I play them & what is their nature? |

.pk files can come from Cool Edit.
It's a peak file created when you open a .wav file.
The first time Cool Edit scans the file for a while and stores info in the peak file, so that the next time you open the file it goes alot faster.
Dunno about the .sfk file...
So to answer your question: You can't play .pk files cause they're additional files that come with .wav files.
Usually the filename of the .pk and .wav files are identical... |

SFK files are basically intended to help draw the representative waveform on the screen. They are often associated with .AVI files.
Program generated from is ACIDPro.
That's from http://filext.com/ |

| also soundforge will make sfk and sfk.sfap0 (i think) files. The sfap0 files are usually HUGE if uv done much work on a file as they store all the undos. They can easily be over 200mb and u should delete them after ur done. |

| Files with those extensions are not actually audio files, but they do contain information about audio files useful to specific programs (as highlighted above). |
