just sitting here at work enjoying the remnants of the christmas party. The only downside of getting paid to drink and surf the net, and try to hide one trainwreck in a mix i want to burn to cd, is that I have to drive, so light beer it is for me. Still, this cascade premium light is not a bad beer. Far cry from early attempts at light beer. Anyone remember the original, tooheys 2.2?

YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA.
My beloved coopers is $15 a carton more expensive here, and boags draught is unheard of.
I tried one Tooheys, Tooheys New and quickly decided against another 1 or 5.
Anyway, NSW beer comes close to been as as QLD beer.
Back on topic about carlton cold.
I am ashamed to say I drank it. When I was 17 and me and my mates had little income, so we got whatever was cheap.
I dont really want to drink it ever again. And wtf is with a clear bottle? I think that also puts me off.
So, If you want to try a worse beer that the Carlton Cold, try Tooheys, but its all .
So heres my unofficial to drink the new year in and throughout list, that you should all follow and learn a thing or 2.
James Boags Premium - oh yes, carton of this to kick the night off
Coopers Pale Ale - best value for money / taste in a beer ever! Well, if you live in Adelaide, here in sydney its hell expensive, but hey, well worth it.
Carlton Draught - damn good draught beer, my adopted child now that boags draught isnt available.
Heineken - When you are watching international sport, or have it on tap :)
Stella Artois - The DJs Beer. Djs look cool drinking it, so why shouldnt you? Or maybe its because they're the human jukebox? :P
Anyway, there are far more beers than this, but this is whats floating my beer gut atm.
VB is only cool when you have the logo on your wife beater singlet and are at the cricket. (Tops on sale at circular quay souveneir shop for $12)
i ramble when it comes to beer.

Stella is catpiss. Can't stand that .
Boags all the way baby. Love that .
Becks is a bit a alright. That is ok.
Carlton Draught if its a has to be a cheap night.
Carlton Cold tastes at first, by your 4th, you couldn't care anymore.
Tooheys New is rancid. Would rather drink Stella.
What else... Cascade is good, as is Heineken.
As for the thicker beers, Caffrey's ain't too bad at all.

Crown Lager = good
Tooheys Extra Dry = good
Tooheys New = drinkable, but not great..
Carlton Cold = house
VB = Worse
XXXX = Even worse again
I usually drink bourbon when out anyway :p |

I forgot the name, but there was a beer that had a Cider kind of taste to it...thats good stuff.
