Last saturday's night we went at "La Sala del Cel" a quality techno club here in my city. Well I go at this club frequently and at the entrance you can see some photos and the names of the big Dj's who have spinned in this club. And this night I read carefully all the names and surprise! I saw Paul Van Dyk between names like Dave Clarke, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Umek, Dj Rush, Chris Liebing, Sven Vath and many others famous techno Dj's.
And my question is if PvD had spinned techno in the beginning of his career cos' was the unique non techno Dj of the list and at this club you only can heard techno.

| I don't know if PVD layed Techno in the beginning, but he does play some techno tracks in his sets nowadays. |

| on his DVD he said back then there was really only one type of electronic music, especially where he lived. So he said there was no classification. But i mean listen to his first albulm, it doesn't sund very techno-y... |
