Any Radio 1 NYE Broadcast Tomorrow?

| I was wondering if Radio 1 will be broacasting any event on New Years Eve like they usually do every year, If so, Where this time? :) |

radio 1 have choosen to broadcast Tim Westwood this year - i think the first year they have decided not to broadcast house/trance on the stroke of nye. For me - it's a sad day and i hope this is not going to be a insight into things to come!

Thing is you can see their point, they have done dance stuff on NYE for how long? You can't please everyone. What they should have done is chucked Westwood on 1XTRA, and leave R1 free to dance related stuff.
Besides, who is going to be in listening to the radio at the strike of 12 ;) Suppose it means there wont be any good end of year MP3's like there have been in the past. |

I love listening to Radio 1 at midnight bc it's only 5PM over here and it's a great starter to my NYE... too bad this year they're going with Westwood.. I remember 2000 at Gatecrasher "Itwillalwaysbewithyou".. that was unreal!!! |
