| I'm sorry, but that's war for you. If you think children aren't dying everyday because of war, you're ignoring the facts of life. We could post about a different child everyday dying due to unfortunate circumstances. There's not much we can do about it, so to blame Americans for one death is just assinine when hundreds, maybe even thousands of children are dying everyday. |

| i doubt anyone in the army is 16 or 17, since the draft age here is 18 |

We know children are dying everyday. Its the story that enables us to identify with the situation. Blantly saying people die everyday gets shrugged off, but a brief story of how a boy died is different because you know why.
Tis a sad world :( |

I'm asuming that was directed at me. How is posting something in the correct forum 'not caring of the real world'?
How is posting something in the political forum 'hiding' it? |
not really, it is directed at those who created the political forums... |

how contradictory.
You argue that by creating a political forum those topics were hidden and banned from the "public"? What makes the chill out room more public and accessable than any other forum on this board? To the contrary, by having this politics forum there's a much greater space for such subjects only! Every room has its atmosphere and "goal", mostly expressed by its very name. Tell me how heated debates about US politics fits into "chill out". |

not only that, but a little story like that really gives you insight on how stupid this world can be. its sad :( and the US Army's stance to it all is even more pathetic. |
