Khemikal Awakenings:

The green button is a Hi-FI stream, the blue downloads.
This track has been around for a few months, and it's gotten extremely good feedback, some from some surprising names. It's some very melodic type trance at first, and around 3-4 minutes it morphs into a very Astral Projection-like psytrance sound. Feedback greatly appreciated. If you like, there is more on my site, listed below.

wow...who the hell are you? lol
cuz this is high gloss, honey sweet and EXTREMELY well polished. Maybe the best part of this is the incredible job mastering all of this...the piano is excellent ..and .. oh...its just amazing.
I streamed it...then I ended up downloading like the greedy mp3 pig that I am!:D
whew...gotta replay it. |

my response is in part to the high production value of this song. It has a wicked bassline and the author (whoever this guy is) must have years of musical theory under his belt. Counter points, good selection of instrumentation that respects each of the other sounds in the spectrum of his music. Multiple percussion tracks that are timed beautifully...Nothing overpowers...it all blends nicely.
Some sounds are a tad annoying and there's not really a MAIN HOOK but on the whole...geez , I guess I did hype this song alot didnt I?
ahhaha:D :whip: |

please don't be mad at me for spamming this thread or bumping it again.
He deserves a REAL trancers opinion though, not my n00b ear. And I want to see if you guys think the same as I do...

I'm bad, I'm bad, you know it, I'm bad...
Do those pianos remind anyone else of Michael Jackson.
This is a cool little song, although I'm not the greatest fan of psy and it's genre cousins. Some cool sounds in there too. Definitely an interesting listen.
Keep up the good work mate. |

Everybody who's posted something so far, thanks. I really wasn't expecting anything, for some reason people usually skip over my stuff.
Digital Aura:
Years of musical theory? Ummm...no. I played tuba and bass guitar, been involved with music for about 11 or 12 years now. Never taught ANY piano or chord theory...thanks for the compliment, tho :) |

| I'm a GOA lover when it's that time of the week you know :D So I liked the second part the most, but the thing, GOA trance has that specific kick, you know, almost every GOA single has that sort of kick, hard to explain, but buy a CD and listen to the songs. That's all that's lacking I think. |

hey,
the song is cool but there aint much going on. i think you should increase lenght by 1/3 and also just add a climax.

... musical theory IS musical experience. Over a decade qualifies you as having a pretty good grasp of music theory! :happy2: |

| Wow...nice track. And very different to most of the productions we hear on this forum, a refreshing change. Yeah that Piano is awesome and the build of synths towards the end really gets you going again for an excellent climax. Wasn't too sure about this when it started but by the end...woah...i love it. Thank You. |
