Gatecrasher Compilations

| What do you guys think of the Gatecrasher Compilations? think they've gotten better or worse with time? I havent heard National Anthems yet, but so far my fav is Black(i know, its old). Did Scott Bond mix all of these? Do the cds do the club justice (The Republic)? Which do you think is the best one? How do they compare to the Slinky compilations (havent heard any yet)? |

| Two days ago I got the U.S. version of "Gatecrasher: Discotech Generation," the one that has a dark-brown cover. (There's also an import version, but the one I got cost $20). I returned it the next day :D didn't like it at all. |

USA and imports are the same, just on under different Record Labels..
Anyways, I've Got BLACK , RED, WET, DISCOTECH, NATIONAL ANTHEMS, and DISCOTECH GENERATION, missing the Global sound system one ..
Anyways, I think they've changed their style, and in my opinion, gotten worst, but is not their fault, they have moved from the other sound, wich is what I like best .. and the magic is still there but not as strong as in the RED or WET CD, even the DISCOTECH one .. those were the days !!
The National Anthems has some good tracks, some old ones too, but is just a bunch of hits places together .. you can tell that it wasent given the right amount of time .. and I think that the National Anthems does not count as part of their usual line of compilations, it was done more tours the Commercial market .
So my faves are RED, WET, and Discotech, Black is okay, but too much house on the 1st CD.
With this, you can see what is it that I like ..
Discotech Generation is all about the progressive, is good, but cant be compared to RED, WET , and DISCOTECH. |

| Wet is my fave Gatecrasher..and pretty much all the Slinky disks kick its ass! |

| i think theyre all damn good except national anthems... the best 2 ar wet and discotech... the new one is also wicked but yea the older ones are from 98-99 and the uplifting trance was better abck then :D the new one got a more prog feel to it.. its different :) |
