Me: "Unfortunately yes. Her so-called producers mutilate the TB-303 through boring, uncreative usage. Your standard KICK BOMP KICK BOMP bassline, accompained by some poor ass attempt at an acid synth. And the lead synth? WTF?! Sounds like something out of a Concertmate keyboard. Her vocals are way overused and the lyrics are totally inappropriate for trance."

Me: "Let me ask you a question Sally: why you don't you stfu because Britney isn't trance and I was partying to trance when you were still in the womb, while your mother sniffed coke because she flunked out of high school and couldn't get a job!" |

I love it how all these pop artists always say how they listen to every other kind of music except pop. You just think to yourself, "Well if you like other styles that much, why dont you make some instead of producing your usual crap??".
Britney doesn't know the first thing about trance (or anything trancey for that matter), she just says that to try and appeal to all the people who listen to real music and who thinks she sucks.

Britney hardly write her own tracks, compose her own music, basiclly she does nothing but ask producers to do it for her, and so she sings on it, which gets manuplated again in studios..

no.. i'm not missing 1 big point..
i know that she doesn't make the music herself... that's why i said that it wount happen that she make's trance becaus her label wount let her.. they wount do any trance music for her becaus it wouldn't sell as much as the music she make's now does..
so i haven't missed any big points here.
and who say she couldn't make it on her own????
she do got spare time and why couldn't she just get some music prog and a computer and start on her own???
the producers here have done it... soo why can't she do it???? |

you guys are also missing another big point...in the pop industry (especially when starting out), the "artist" really have no say in what gets released first, or what style they want, or ANYTHING for that matter. it's just how things are...they're a puppet for the industry. it's mostly because they aren't even old enough to make decisions yet. britney isn't going anywhere and has grown up a lot, so i think now she definitely has more say in what she wants. she is starting to cowrite a lot of stuff and she's having a lot more input these days about her music. once you establish yourself, you have the power to fire whoever and do your own thing.
i don't really like pop music, but one of my favorite TV channels is E! and i've seen a lot of true hollywood stories about pop artists and it really sucks because they have no control whatsoever when they first get a record deal. they are forced to portray an image that they might not even agree with... christina aguilera wanted to be slutty (i mean more "grown up" :rolleyes: ) and more like mariah when she first started out because she obviously has a voice like her, but her label made her do "genie in a bottle" first and wanted her to be like britney #2. she hated every minute of it...except when she got paid i'm sure:) |

this should be interesting, cheese in its most exagerated form. and with millions of pounds worth of marketing behind it!! you see, if i was french and smoked camembert and babybel instead of weed, then i might possibly be interested in this. as it happens i dont and will relish the day when a friend perhaps claims britney spears to be trance,
that of course or she was on a hallucinogenic substance when she did that interview
