so..that still hasnt answered my question..I want something very small that I can carry while snowboarding. Id have a diskman..but that is larger and hurts when I land on it(it is big) so small is the key..minidisc, MP3, either way..what does everybody reccomend?
The rio volt is sweet..but thats the same size as a CD player.. |

| I'd go for a MP3 player j_spot, they're small, durable and don't skip. Since u're going to be using it for snowboarding I'm thinking that's what u'd want. |

| But the problem is , for the price of a normal mp3 player (64mb) u can get something better which is MP3 CD Player |

| LoL, I know FASTDJMP3 but he asked for something small like either minidisc or MP3 player. Damn, I'm the one that recommended the Volt & a new CD-RW to u and now u're like obsessed :D :stongue: |

If he's rich enough then he can get both of them (why not) . Oh by the way i heard people too complainin' about sonicblue's bad service ... |

| to burn minidisc..u need a separate burner right? to get MP3 to your player u get what? a USB cable? |
|
|
| FASTDJMP3 |
| no minidisc u don'T need a burner , it's like an mp3 player , u plug it in your computer and upload music in it |

| Yeah, for MP3 player u need a USB cable (which comes w/ the player). It takes about 5 min to copy 64MB to my Rio 500 and about 1 SECOND to delete it. If u get tunes at 128kbps u can fit about an hour worth of trance on it. Rio has much better MP3 player now though, like the 800. |

are they memory sticks that u can change? or is a HD that is permanent? Thatd be sweet..I could record the 90 minute long live sets that are too short to cut onto a CD, but too long for one.
BTW what is the Rio webpage? i should check this out |

But how long does it take to erase one of those discs?
