| Hello !! Of course I know Belgian DJ's, especially the ones from the Bonzai Label !! Trance God Yves Deruyter is a hero (he spun 99 a CN Session (3 hours) at a German Radio called HR3 Clubnight and I can tell you it was an amazing Set ! Technically never heard better mixes and then the High Quality Trance from Yyes...what do you want more ??? I also know Mike (Push) or Airwave (Laurent Verronez) they are also perfect DJ's and Producers. I heard of DJ Phillip and his Productions, but never heard a Set from him ! Do you know where I can find that ?? Cheers and long live Trance !! |

MAn Absolom is bad, commercial, they had only one good song, Baby Boomers, that's before they became famous in Belgium.

For being commercial, okay, for making good trance, definitely NOT, like I said, only Baby Boomers was good enough to hear once in a while without being disgusted......
There are just too many belgian acts fighting for a top spot while none off them got good music (Milk Inc, Absolom, Astroline, LaLuna,.......)

Johan Gielen is from Belgium... Allthough so far he has lived the largest part of his life in Holland. He may not be one of the greatest, but he spun a nice set at trance energy last year.
It had a cool variation in songs. It got a bit commercial once in a while, but at times it also went 'deeper underground.' |

Well seeing that gielen is part of airscape and he is balearic bill, he has some great tunes and remixes...i think he's in my top 5...and of course the beauty of silence..

You're right Johan Gielen is from Belgium, but he isn't that wellknown here, only by people who love trance.
Push is also from Belgium and is the man behind projects like (Virtua Trancer, Extreme Trax together with Yves Deruyter, Plastik Boy, Fun-tastic, The Blackmaster) so I think he is one off the best producers. Johan Gielen is the best dj (in m opinion).
