im just curious how much gas cost in holland and was wondering if any of u know any americans who have moved and stayed in holland.I hear its really hard for an american to find a job in holland legally and then stay there.I have falled in love with dutch culture and want to move there cause im tired of the states and i also have to say to all the dutch women (damn). Dutch women are some of the most beautiful women in the world. Sorry for invading your board cause i know yall get mad when others post here.

well ! guess no body knows the gas prices

Everybody is sleeping/partying at this time (as usual at 4.00 AM Dutch time) so don't whine that ur question remains unanswered for a while.

Gas here is probably twice as expensive as in your country if not more.

if your immigration is depending on gas prices, you should go to our neighbours, ze Germans, where gas prices are lower.

Well, when u fly to NL, at least you don't have to fill in 6 papers with ur name, destiny, shoesize, preferred religion, past, present and future or if you like terroristic activites, as in the opposite way. If you got talent, u can make it in every country, right?

About the girls, well i'll teach you, your first dutch saying: the grass is always greener in the neighbour's garden. good luck
neo geo
what do u mean by that saying
yeah i agree with u america is a piece of country and im ashamed to be american. Well i hope to meet some more holand ta's someday, i met jp and he welcomed me with open arms and i met a lot of locals while in amsterdam and i just have to say that you all are some very nice people.

how long did u stay in A'dam? and what have u done? emigrating is quite a decision :)
neo geo
i was in amsterdam for a week! yeah true imigrating is a big choice but its one i have made.I cant stand to live in this country anymore with all the crime and hatered in this country.I also cant stand our fast pace of life here in america, companys dont give a about employes anymore they only care about that dollar.I was i amsterdam for the cannabis cup but i did go to a few museums and went to a club and cheked out a school that im gonna be attending here in the states but i want to go to work for the school after i finish i want to work in amsterdam. The only thing i did not like about amsterdam was the in taxi drivers, they rip u off

We ride bikes, not cabs :D
basvh
benzine is about 1.05 euro to 1.10 euro depending on which brand of gasstation and location (near highway or in a village). diesel is about 0,70 to 0,80.

to work in amsterdam

i dont really get what you mean with that sentence, sorry.

But if you are looking for a education here in holland there are a few which are completely in english. Like mine I am studying Media and Entertainment Manegement. My study also gives foreigners a priority above us dutchys. So for example if you enroll to our study you will immediatly be accepted. Natives have to wright application-letter. I think there are a few other studys wich work with the same principle and are in english.
If you attend a dutch study and when you have a dutch diploma it is easyer to find a job. Since you know the language and culture. If you dont want a education here and you already have a US diploma it is harder to find a job. But it depends on what kind of diploma you have. we are in a economic depression but some proffesions are always in a high demand.

There are some schools that teach everything in Engelish, jeah. I know there is an international school in Holland.

But NeoGeo, if i where you i should first visit a lot of stuff outside Amsterdam also. Amsterdam isnt Holland, Holland is bigger than only Amsterdam. It would be the same if we only saw Miami and said "We love the United STates, we want to live there!".

Next time you are here in Holland, give the dutch forum a ring :)
We'll make up a "Get to know Holland in 1 week"-program.
We'll visit Friesland and go Flierjeppen, we'll go to Staphorst and find some nice looking girls for ya, go to the little island of Marken where the people still wear the clothes they wore 100 years ago, etc etc.

and btw, we have Jamai, with a glorious last place in World Idols. We get last in the most meaningless contest ever, how sad is that. You wanna be affiliated with such a country?
