Rhapsody (Spoken like the true Best Buy employee that I am) :D
DJ Dingel
I think Napster has a new legal service. I'd recommend iTunes.

is mp3.com still around?

Check out some of the artists websites. Usually they have mixes up for download. Sander Kleinenberg's site also has a single of his now and then.

www.djmixes2k.com also has some quality mixes up for d/l.

There are tons.

i doubt legally its possible to get 50% of the songs you are searching for if its trance
caddyshack
all p2p is legal unless you dl something illegal, fancy that.

www.mp3.com used to be an awesome site. I think thats how infected mushroom, ppk, yahel and others got a start if not good publicity.

also http://www.livesets.com/forums/index.php?s=
i think you have to sign up but ive downloaded some livesets from there

also http://kickme.to/trancegate is a pretty neat site. im kinda curious as to who runs UKTA though
Poncho
yeah you can download any music you want as long as you have the backup copy ;) ;) It is illegal to share music however... go figure.
ratz
just saw a commercial for this site... porn free, virus free, spam free... and its got ron jeremy in the commercial shooting a porn as the mother walks in the room... funny ...

I've heard decent stuff about itunes. Also more and more record labels are doing the digital download thing, so check them out.

Digital Aura
what Nadi said.
Apple has that new mp4 thing going...you download a RIAA approved mpeg4 which restricts you to 3 computers only but its smaller and better than mp3!!
