After meeting a lot of people this weekend, having long talks and thinking for hours i've finally decided which field i'd like to apply to, so the university situation is taken care of as we speak :)

Reason i'd like to get a place to stay there before coming is because i don't have any family/friends there so ill need a place to settle down when i get there.

Thanks again for all your help, i really appreciate it :)

to razmataz: i never said that English people aren't cool. Its just that if we had only English people, Montreal would look more like Toronto.

to Deejiuana: you are wrong my friend, because you don't speak french you are missing out, in reality you don't really know whats happening. I dont know if you understand what I mean but culturaly speaking, when you know an extra language, more doors opens up to you in society.
Deejiuana
Malek, this is for you:
Je m'excuse, mais je sais parler francais...lived in france 9 years...:tongue3 :tongue3 :tongue3
N uhmmm, araby kamaneh.......(arabic)
n also: Yes Hai Chem, paiss haeren chad turune...(armenian)
e parlaro l'italiano anche......ma l'italiano e la mia quarta lingua...(italian)

ca fait un total de 4, n'est ce pas?
anyway, so my point is: i know that languages open up more doors....but french is not an essential worry for the guy...he's got more important things to worry about: uni, program, apartment, job....then he can worry bout the language....
ahlamalek
fo' rizzle my nizzle (ghetto talk)

you made it sound like you didn't speak french :)

yeah getting into uni is way more important than some linguistic acrobaties :P he'll have to put it on his "TO DO" list:D
Deejiuana
malek, more like fo' shizzle ma nizzle, nah?
Anyway, so back 2 ya SKELETOR.....listen, if u need help on anythin or wotever, u can always gimme a call n i'll c wot i can do 4 ya over here.......just pm me if u seriously need help n if u're about 2 kill urself...doh :eyes:

je ne suis pas d'accord, le respect de l'identité culturelle d'un endroit quelconque devrait être la principale préoccupation de n'importe quel arrivant, d'autant plus que, d'après ce que j'ai compris, il se pointe dans une université québécoise avec un statut d'étranger.
