hmmm .. yeah heh itz kinda nice u all talkin about this hefty subject like this .. itz the exact kinda discussion the iDance movement wants people to recognize ... the eternal battle between drugs vs. no-drugs at raves & clubs.
Personally I don't promote drug use at raves and I'm proud to say that I've never done any (ever) in my whole life partying at clubs or raves. Unfortunately I can't say the same for my friends whom I go with, but hey it's their choice and who am I to tell them otherwise. Atleast I know that I can keep an eye on them in the case something serious happens I'd be able to help them out. (Sort of like a designated driver). And i won't let them influence me into doing so. All I am saying is that, hey if you wanna do drugs that's fine, just don't be an idiot by OD'ing and ing it up for other people like me who enjoy it purely for the music. (I won't look at you in any lesser way, incase u are one of those ppl who has to dose at a party). People are always gonna drink and drive ... so you don't outlaw driving, but at the same time u can drink responsibly right?
Sometimes it makes you wonder, do people get into the scene cuz of the music or the drugs. I was listening to the music since I was in 7th grade so I know how i got in...
If iDance needs someone who they can show that it's still POSSIBLE to party without drugs, then I'm proud to say that I'm living proof. How many more of us are there out there ?

That's cool that you don't complain about people who do drugs responsibly... And if you have never done any drugs then don't start, that way you'll never know what your missing....good post! |

Well it's now less then a week away....there's about 30 of us coming from London.....I'm just gonna chill and take in the sites during the day. I can't wait to see the Square filled with people hopefully the weather will hold up......

Hey Abbas check out the link for idance in the first post at their site they have info about all the parties going on....there's like 8 to 10 different events going on leading up to and after idance....
Peace and who knows maybe some of will see each other...I'll be bringing my camera for sure.....then I'll have to post some pic's ....Anyone want to guess how many people might show up? If the weather is good I'd like to think that there could be 25,000 people there...I think that's the low end...

my boys and i are definitely there, you've got to support the scene if we want to keep it alive!! the guv is the destination after that, i mean i'm getting free tickets so i have to go!!! craziest sunday of this summer that its going to be!!! see all the tranceaddicts there!!!
