loosing inspiration? [track downloads included]

Hmm, I haven't touched my turntables in a while... and I haven't been too inspired in producing electronic music for a longer while. Actually, I haven't come up with anything decent in months. Haven't been to any clubs recently either.
Instead, I find myself glued to my guitar, and I'm looking into getting a new electric axe soon, and perhaps a new acoustic one too. I'm all of a sudden motivated to be a guitar virtuoso one day. My buddies and I are jammin', writing songs, and are looking to perform at open mics and coffee houses in the future when we get solid.
However, I'm not ready to just throw electronica all away yet. I'm just waiting to be inspired again. Perhaps I'll find a creative way to merge these two interests together?
Anyways, here are some of the tracks I've produced in the last two years with mr.poopyhead. I got an e-mail over the break praising one of the tracks, which prompted me to put it up for download. A few months ago, I had plans on putting together a demo cd, and sending it out, but at this rate, I don't know when it'll ever be completed. It might be a while before I come up with anything fresh in this genre of music. So I share, and maybe some feedback might inspire me again.

thats all i gotta say, i can't believe the person make'n these songs are debating on whether to keep go'n???? sorry but it doesn't make sense to me, you got skillz. If you need some motivation just sit there with your eyes closed and listen to your own stuff, that should be enough motivation. Tunes are nice and fluint, keep'm'com'n my friend. |

| I like the ambient mix of Push - The Legacy the most. Did you do your mixing on keyboards and synths, or was it done on a computer? |

you should do what you really want.. and shouldnt feel guilty if u wana stop producing edm, but from what it looks like u dont want to stoping producing edm.. maybe u should just try something new to spice things up? i know what it feels like to be at a dead-end sometimes.. change has always been good for me. |

| Wow, I haven't listened to all the tracks, but sofar this sounds amazing. Very professional. You guys should keep it up. I know what it means to feel uninspired though. I've played guitar for many years, and I think I'm pretty good, but I've been uninspired by the guitar for a while now and it pushes me more and more towards electronic music. I'd like to produce music too, incorporating the guitar. |
