That one's my favourite. Before I switched to Bayesian filtering, I used to have a filter on the phrase "this is not spam" and it removed basically half the spam I got. ;) |

and yeah theres been a massive drop in mail...dunno y...maybe hotmail is actually filtering some of this crap? |

Time to change your e-mail addys folks.
I was talking with some computer nut about all this; he says the source of a lot of spam is a few prisons in the States! Didn't believe him, though.
Apprarantly the reason spam exists, in spite of the fact that a vast majority of people don't want it, is that the spammers make a profit from the little percentage of the population that falls for the scams.
Which throws the prison theory off...what good is profit if you're in the tank? |
